Description

This is a solid sterling silver novelty pen wipe, modelled as a shoe shine / wipe. It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1900, with the maker's mark of James Deakin & Sons (John & William F Deakin).

The silver is in very good condition. The bristles are a bit thin in the middle but overall it is in good condition and is still a working item.
