Description

This is a lovely Georgian sterling silver muffineer or small caster hallmarked in London 1772 and made by Robert Peaston.

It is in very good condition with just some minor dings to the lower body. The impressively pierced lid fits perfectly and is finished with an urn finial. The muffineer is made with a thick gauge of silver and hallmarks are clearly struck.

Peaston was a specialist Georgian silver muffineer / caster maker but this is offered at a discounted price to reflect the minor imperfections mentioned.
