Description

This is a stunning set of 6 Victorian sterling silver menu or place name holders made by Harry Brasted and hallmarked in London 1897.

They are beautifully modelled as peacocks and all 6 have identically struck hallmarks. The bases are lead weighted for stability.

They are in very good condition with no damage to the silver and just one minor old repair to the clip of one peacock on the reverse and this is hardly noticeable.

A tall and imposing set of holders from a fine Victorian silversmith.
