Description

This is a lovely antique sterling silver buckle made by William Neale and hallmarked in Sheffield 1897.

It is in very good condition with no repair or damage. Hallmarks are clearly struck to both halves. The decoration mainly consists of scrolls but the main feature is a face complete with horns. An unusual decoration for what is usually referred to as a nurses buckle.
