Description

This is an ornate and imposing antique Georgian silver coffee pot made by William Eley II and hallmarked in London 1825.

It is in very good condition and has been made with a thick gauge of silver (weighs 32 ozs). It has a long loop handle incorporating a thumbpiece. The body and lid are each divided into 8 panels with scroll decoration and the lid is topped with a finial decorated with acanthus leaves and flower finial. Further decoration to the spout and the coffee pot stands firmly on a raised scalloped base which is also divided into 8 panels and all decorated.

A beautiful Georgian silver coffee pot from this well respected silversmith.
