Description

This is a lovely and substantial side handled Georgian sterling silver mustard pot made by Charles Chesterman and hallmarked in London 1802.

It has a blue glass liner and both the silver and glass are in very good condition with no repair or damage. Hallmarks are clearly struck to both the lid and the body and the pot is made with a thick gauge of silver. The lid closes perfectly and there is an engraving of a catherine wheel to the front (NB any shadows shown in photographs are merely reflections).
