Large Ornate Antique Victorian Silver Caster - 1886

This is a beautiful and imposing antique sterling silver caster or sugar shaker made by Thomas Bradbury & Sons and hallmarked in London 1886.
It is in very good condition with no repair or damage. The lid is attractively pierced, topped with a flame finial and fits perfectly. To the body there is overall decoration of scrolls, leaves etc. and incorporates a cartouche which has an imposing crest.
The interior is richly gilded and hallmarks are clearly struck on both the body and lid. The caster sits firmly on a raised circular base underneath of which there is an inscription with the date 1887.
A fine and quite stunning Victorian sterling silver caster from these well known makers.
