Description

This is a stunning Georgian silver beaker/cup made by Paul Storr and hallmarked in London 1828. It is in very good condition with no repair or damage. The interior retains the original gilding and there is an ornate double scroll handle. The body is shaped into individually decorated panels and the beaker sits firmly on a raised scalloped base. Of course, the beaker is made with a very good gauge of silver.

Paul Storr is widely regarded as the finest English silversmith of the 19th century and for many years held Royal commissions to George, 111, George 1V and William 1V.
