Description

This is an excellent set of solid sterling silver forks. Clearly hallmarked for London 1801, during the reign of George III, with the maker's mark for William Eley & William Fearn.

The forks are 16.5cm in length and weigh a total of 523g.

There is slight damage to the finial of one fork, which I have highlighted in photographs 4 and 5.

Declaration

The Silver Cabinet has clarified that the set of twelve solid silver Georgian forks (C202 / LA16178) is antique and it's date/period of manufacture is 1801.

Condition

The forks carry a crest just above the hallmarks and, other than the damage mentioned above, are in excellent condition.
