Description

This is an imposing Victorian sterling silver gilded tazza/comport made by the famous Robert Garrard and hallmarked in London 1853.

It is an attractive and imposing piece with a waited fluted stem engraved with husked bands which supports a shaped dish with a scalloped border. The dish is further decorated with 3 vacant cartouches interleaved between applied leaf decorations.

This is a good quality Victorian silver tazza as one would expect from this famous Silversmith.
