Description

Engine-turned silver photograph frame by William H Haseler, Birmingham 1919. Rectangular frame with engine-turned decoration. Easel style solid oak frame and support. Easel leg is set diagonally to enable either portrait or landscape images to be displayed.

William Hair Haseler established his firm of jewellers and silversmiths in 1848, becoming W H Haseler Ltd in 1901 when he also entered into formal partnership with Liberty’s as Liberty & Co (Cymric) Ltd. Directed by William Hair Haseler and Frank Haseler, with J.H. Howe and John Llewellyn of Liberty's – they manufactured both Liberty’s Cymric and Tudric ranges.

External measurements are 15.5 cm by 11.5 cm. Aperture measures 14 cm by 9.5 cm.

Condition
