Description

This is a most attractive and ornate sterling silver jug made by Leonard Urquhart and hallmarked in Edinburgh in 1835.

It is in very good condition with no repair or damage. It has overall decoration with 2 vacant cartouches and stands firmly on 4 raised feet. A very ornate handle, much of the interior gilding remaining and made with a thick gauge of silver. Hallmarks are clearly struck and it appears to have had very little use.

A lovely Scottish antique silver jug.
