Description

This early Victorian sterling silver milk jug was made by James Aldridge and hallmarked in London 1856.

It sits firmly on 4 feet and the body is decorated with 6 panels all with engraved decorations and incorporating a vacant cartouche. The attractive double scroll handle is fully secure and there is an ornate applied decoration to the scalloped rim.

A lovely tall Victorian silver milk jug.
