Description

A lovely George II sterling silver salver/waiter made by the famous Robert Abercrombie and clearly hallmarked for London 1741.

As one would expect from this recognised specialist salver maker this is a high quality piece and is made with a heavy gauge of silver. An excellent example.

Declaration

WENTWORTH SILVER has clarified that the George II Sterling Silver Salvers by Abercrombie is antique and it's date/period of manufacture is 1741.

Condition

It is in very good condition with only the usual superficial surface marks. There is a central armorial, a raised Chippendale border and the salver stands firmly on 3 hoofed feet.
