This is a fine and imposing Georgian sterling silver made by John Swift and hallmarked in London 1766. It is in very good condition with no repair or damage and just some minor surface marks through usage. It stands firmly on 3 hoof feet and hallmarks are clearly struck. There is a wide shell and scroll border and an ornate central crest.
A lovely silver salver from this well respected Georgian silversmith.
