Description

This is a fine Georgian sterling silver salver made by the famous Paul Storr and hallmarked in London 1814.

It is in very good condition with no repair or damage. Made with a heavy gauge of silver the decoration includes two vacant cartouches and ther is an impressive gadroon/shell border. The salver sits firmly on 3 ornate feet and hallmarks are clearly struck.

Paul Storr is regarded as the finest English silversmith of the 19th century and so highly collectible.
