Description

Wonderful, heavy, solid sterling silver basting spoon.

Clearly hallmarked on the back of the handle for London 1816,with the maker's mark for John Kerschner.

With a fiddle and thread pattern, the finial has an engraved crest of a raised arm holding a dagger.

Declaration

The Silver Cabinet has clarified that the silver basting spoon (C183 / LA12257) is antique and it's date/period of manufacture is 1816.
