Description

This is an excellent set of solid sterling silver desert spoons, from the very end of the reign of William IV.

Clearly hallmarked on the back of the finial for London 1837, with the maker's mark 'JB', possibly that of James Beebe, a specialist flatware maker.

The finials are engraved with an italicised 'TW'.

Length : 17.5 cm - 6.89 in

Total silver weight: 491g

Declaration

The Silver Cabinet has clarified that the Set of 12 William IV Solid Silver Desert Spoons (C293 / LA40639) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being 1837.

Condition

The spoons are in good used condition, with no dings or tears to the silver.
