Description

An attractive antique sterling silver tea caddy made by William Hutton & Sons and hallmarked in London 1900.

It is in very good condition with only light surface marks. The pull off lid fits tightly and is decorated with flowers and scrolls and the same pattern is repeated on the upper part of the body. The lower body has a wrythen pattern, a crimped flared base and a vacant cartouche.

Full hallmarks to the lid are clearly struck, those on the body partially worn. The caddy sits firmly on its base, is made with a good gauge of silver and altogether an attractive Victorian piece.
