This charming Arts & Crafts influenced tea set was made by 'Connell', circa early 1900's.
The company were very highly regarded and described as, ‘pioneers of modern artistic silverware’, (Pudney, Silver Society Journal 11).
Teapot measures 250mm wide and 130mm tall.
Brunswick Antiques has clarified that the Connell of 83 Cheapside, Arts & Crafts Jacobean Silver Plated Three Piece Tea Set (1629) (K.84215 / LA71023) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being early 1900's.
Light surface marks commensurate with age and use but the item is in good condition overall with no significant wear to the silver plate.
