Description

This is a fine and quite large antique sterling silver pen or desk tray made by Lawrence Emanuel and hallmarked in Birmingham 1876.

It is in very good condition and hallmarks are clearly struck. There is a profusion of decoration including birds, flowers etc and the tray is made with a good gauge of silver and sits firmly on its base. There is an attractively shaped vacant cartouche and the tray has a decorated crimped rim.

A lovely Victorian silver desk tray.
