Description

Rare Scottish Vinaigrette. Superb quality silver mounted, unmarked, horn vinaigrette of snuff mull form. The silver hinged cover decorated in repousse thistle heads surrounding a faceted Cairngorm citrine. The body has a small shield engraved Mabel and the tip has again a thistle inspired mount holding a green stone. This charming vinaigrette is very good quality and in excellent condition, the hinges are crisp, the grill as new, overall a wonderful example. Measures 3 inches (7.5cm) across. Ready to admire.
