An elegant long Dressing or Piano Stool constructed from Mahogany with a serpentine side edge construction. Produced around 1890 or 1900 in the Hepplewjite manner, elegant and sophisticated.The upholstery is excellent in its styling, with the applied braiding following the shape of the carving to the top of each leg which then finishes with a rounded pad foot.The stool is upholstered in a mustard yellow fabric with a small light blue dot in the design, with a contrasting yellow and light blue braiding and is in unmarked condition, no staining or tears.The colour is not bright but a more subdued yellow, a musty colour.
