Condition

Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition with some quite heavy wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected, and the piece is overall faded. There is some significant marking and staining to the top and the leaves, and one of the leaves has an area of minor wood loss. This leaf does not quite sit flat when dropped. There are some signs of old woodworm to the base - this is not active but has been retreated as a precaution. There are some signs of old restoration and repair.
