Description

A 19th Century French kingwood, tulipwood and gilt metal and mounted necessaire in Louis XV style. The hinged lid is decorated in parquetry with a central urn of flower, the interior has sliding rosewood compartments as well as a mirror. It is raised on slender cabriole legs with foliate cast mounts and sabots.

This beautiful item is from the estate of Lady Clarissa Collin, daughter of the late Earl of Feversham.
