Item of The Week - Victorian Mahogany Partners Desk

Antiques are most commonly purchased to display in houses and living spaces, and with multiple rooms to adorn & a wealth of items to choose from, it’s easy to see why they are a popular choice for home décor. But why confine antiques to just your home? If you love antiques then let them spill in to other areas of your life, such as your work place. Take this 19th Century Victorian Mahogany Partners Desk for example.

19th Century Victorian Mahogany Partners Desk

Dating from the Victorian era, this partners desk is perfect for offices where space may be slightly limited. Being a partner’s desk, this piece offers 2 desks in one, with a kneehole and 8 drawers on each side (16 drawers in total with 4 on each pedestal!). The work top is spacious and is adorned with 3 green leather inserts and gold tooling offering plenty of space for yours and your colleague’s paperwork.

And if this large worktop space isn’t big enough, fear not as there are 2 matching leather-clad drop leaves that can be lifted on either end of the table providing additional surface space; perfect for meetings or minute taking, or indeed for 2 further members of staff.

Crafted from Mahogany, this desk is sturdy and rich in colour. The leather is in good condition and whilst not fresh out of a factory, this desk is in great condition despite being made almost 150 years ago. It can also be taken apart for easy transportation.

So go ahead and give your office the sophistication it deserves with this antique desk. It is for sale from LC Antiques for £1,850
