148 Piece Silver Canteen of Cutlery An early 20th century George V 148 piece canteen of cutlery. The silver pieces have hall marks for Sheffield, the year 1931 and the maker's mark for Viner's Ltd (Emile Viner). This very comprehensive set of cutlery is stored in its original canteen cabinet with a hinged lid and two drawers all fitted with a place for everything. The set is for 12 place settings with 12 of the following pieces: Dinner Forks Dinner Knives (Steel) Dessert Forks Dessert Knives (Steel) Dessert Spoons Soup Spoons Tea Spoons Egg Spoons Fish Forks Fish Knives Also included are these complimenting pieces: 6 Serving Spoons 2 Sauce Ladles 1 Soup Ladle 2 Preserve Spoons 2 Butter Knives 2 Fruit Serving Spoons 2 Salt Spoons 2 Mustard Spoons 1 Pickle Fork Pair of Fish Servers Pair of Sugar Tongs 2 Steel Carving Forks 2 Steel Carving Knives 1 Steel Sharpener Out of the total of 148 pieces, 119 are sterling silver with 29 stainless steel bladed knives or carving tools.
