Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!

Description
Very decorative late 18th century Italian fruitwood serpentine front two drawer parquetry commode on tapered block feet, with the back feet being slightly set in to allow for skirting board and allowing a flush finish to the wall.
Wonderful colour to the fruitwood and the contrasting tones of the parquetry drawers, also both drawers having working locks and keys.
Great proportions to this serpentine commode, being quite deep with the serpentine the square tapered legs give it a lighter feel and also very sensible having the back legs set in so you can push the commode to be flush to the wall.
Offered in good solid condition, drawers both running well and the top being free from ring marks etc…the top is in good order, some of the usual age related marks, but no water or ring marks etc.
