Description
Crafted circa 1750, the piece is constructed from solid oak, showcasing the warm, rich tones and grain character synonymous with well-aged timber.
The upper section features a pair of tall, paneled doors with arched fielded panels—typical of the Georgian period—opening to reveal generous storage space holding 3 removable shelves originally intended for linens or household essentials. These shelves are easily removed and could be replaced with a hanging rail if preferred.
With working lock and key.
Below, the lower section is comprised of two full-width drawers, each adorned with elegant brass swan-neck handles and escutcheons. These drawers provide ample space for additional storage and are constructed using traditional dovetail joints.
On bracket feet.
