1930s ‘The Consol’ Pocket Watch

1930s ‘The Consol’ pocket watch which has a Swiss seven jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed ‘The Consol’, and it is all protected by an inner hinged cover. The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is in good condition with just light surface marks, nothing too serious at all. The glass lens is in lovely condition. The signed dial has has a little patch of short hairline cracks at number 11 but otherwise is in good condition, with original blued steel steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. The watch comes in a new presentation box. All of our watches are checked over before listing, and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch.
