1951 FESTIVAL OF BRITAIN SOUVENIR SOAP BAR IN ORIGINAL BOX by RICHARD WHEEN & SONS A circular bar of soap in its original box sold as a souvenir of the 1951 Festival of Britain. The soap has a diameter of 2.6 inches and is 0.3 inches thick. One side is imprinted with Festival of Britain around the symbol of the exhibition and has "Wheen London". The other side has a central image of the Crystal Palace with "The Great Exhibition 1851". The box has a feint Festival logo to the front and an inscription inside the lid "Made in England by Richard Wheen & Sons Ltd, London SE8, Makers of fine soaps since 1769" Both bars are in original boxes which are in good condition on of the soaps has slight damage as shown to the Festival of Britain side
