A pair of framed and glazed hand-coloured engravings of 19th Century British satirical Caricatures featuring George IV and Lord Bexley.
Published in April and May 1829 by Thomas McLean, a London printseller and publisher who specialised in the publication of political caricatures. Examples of these and other works can be found in the National Portrait Gallery.
The pair are framed and glazed in period ebonised frames that both have losses to the decorative mouldings, both engravings have areas of foxing and discolouration.
