19th Century Japanese parquetry and lacquered cabinet from the Meiji period, the top, sides and back lacquered with floral decoration, the front of the cabinet consisting of ten various size drawers, the parquetry on the drawer fronts is meticulously done in a range of different woods, all drawers having the original finely engraved handles, the top right hand of the cabinet has a sliding panel which depict a typical Japanese countryside scene. A truly lovely and decorative little cabinet. Circa 1890.
