A Large 19th Century North African Folk Art Pierced, Painted 4 Fold Screen This is a Very Heavy Piece it has been hand made in hard wood and painted in traditional colours, the paint now has developed a genuine shabby but still colourful appearance Each fold of the screen has several pierced panels surrounding central panels which are painted with with pictures of local fruit and vegetables and the screen is painted on both sides The screen is in good original condition, it is 72” high, and each of the panels is 20” wide and about 1” thick Nc30
