A stunning vintage French 2.25 carat unheated blue sapphire and 0.78 carat diamond, platinum cluster ring; part of our diverse vintage jewellery collections This stunning, fine and impressive unheated sapphire ring has been crafted in platinum. The oval shaped, cluster design is ornamented with a feature 2.25ct cushion cut blue sapphire, ten claw set to the centre. The central sapphire is encircled by ten pav© set Old European round cut diamonds. The pierced decorated, elevated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank. This vintage 1940's dress ring is hallmarked to the outer surface of the ring with the French maker's mark and the French mark for platinum (dog's head). The vintage sapphire cluster ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card for the diamonds in addition to a full sapphire certificate and report card produced by the Gemmological Certification Services.
