A fine porcelain ogee shaped coffee cup and saucer, produced at the Derby factory at the end of the 18th Century. It is of shaped and moulded form. The white ground decorated with a simple gilt neo-classical design of continuous small bell flower swags suspended from simple ribbon ties. The bases of both pieces bear the hand-written crowned crossed baton mark, in blue.
The cup stands 2 3/4 inches high and measures 3 inches in diameter. The saucer measures 5 1/4 inches in diameter

Both cup and saucer are in excellent original, sound condition with no wear yo the decoration.
