Description
A handsome silver table or serving spoon from the end of the reign of King George II. The superb example is in Hanoverian pattern, with no initials or armorials engraved to the shank. The hallmarks are bottom marked (above the reverse of the bowl) and there is an acanthus scroll to the back of the bowl. A fine collector's piece, still usable today. Dimensions below. Hallmarks :- Distorted and soft. Maker :- Robert Perth. Length :- 20.5 cms. Bowl width :- 4.2 cms. Bowl depth :- 7.5 cms.
