Antique Classic Marquise Diamond Ring

This vintage ring features 19 dazzling old European cut diamonds arranged in a marquise-shaped cluster head for an approximate total of 0.40ct. This shape creates a unique and elegant look that is sure to stand out. The marquise shape was a popular choice for jewellery during the Edwardian era. It was believed to have been named after the Marquise de Pompadour, a lover of King Louis XV of France who favoured this diamond shape. This ring, circa the early 20th century, is stamped for 18ct.
