Antique Silver Limit Pocket Watch, 1919

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Limit name, Limit were importers of watches into the UK, and they were based in Oldham in Lancashire, UK. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover. The watch measures 50.7mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are Birmingham hallmarks inside the two case backs for 1919 with the case makers mark for the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case is in good condition, just light surface marking from use and a couple of mild bruises to the outer edge but nothing too serious at all. The acrylic lens is in nice condition with only minor marking from use. The white enamel dial is in nice condition. The watch has its original gold hands and a blued steel sub seconds hand. The watch comes in a new presentation box.
