Condition commensurate with age - superficial marks & scratches and various knocks and pieces missing from gesso frame but all part of its charm and character. Think shabby chic or faded grandeur. Priced accordingly. This is a genuine antique original and authentic work of art which I have had remounted in a period frame. I do not sell reproductions or fakes. Just for the sake of clarity, please note that this painting is not glazed (which is probably just as well as it would make posting more hazardous and costly). This item is obviously delicate and the gesso frame fragile. Therefore, whilst every care will be taken to pack this item extremely well, I cannot guarantee that some pieces of plaster will not become fragmented and dislodged. Please understand this before committing to buy and it will need to be understood that the item cannot be returned for this reason.
