A handsome antique, late Victorian era oak smokers cabinet. Very well made, cut from quality sections of nicely grained stained oak with a dark finish. It has an integral pipe rack on top of the lid so that pipes can be displayed across the top and selected easily. There is space for a tobacco jar. Inside there is a fitted drawer, this is a later replacement and appears to be handmade, it has a double recess base for two pipes, lined with a green felt. There is a copper plated key plate and it has the original key but it does not seem to lock. The door has a bezelled glazed door panel so you can see inside the cabinet. English make, c1890s/1900 The perfect piece for storing your finest pipes and favourite blends. The base of the cabinet has been later lined with a green felt to protect the base and surface it stands on. Approx measurements: 7.75" width 11" height 7.25" length / depth Any questions or queries please contact us.
