Description
Austro-Hungarian continental silver button studs, with niello decoration and silver gilt central flower motifs.
Austro-Hungarian marks consist of the hexagonal mark of the head of the mythological goddess Diana, facing right (1872-1922) for 900 silver, with the number 2, also for 900 silver, and the Assay Office letter A for Vienna. Also marked PATENT, and a makers mark L & V, as yet unidentified. Circa 1900.

They each have 9mm wide stud heads, with 10mm wide backs, and have a combined silver weight of 2.6g.
declaration
Sterling Choice has clarified that the Austro-hungarian c.1900 Continental 900 Silver Niello Button Studs Hallmarked Vienna (LA547623) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being c.1900
condition
Dents/unevenness to one of the stud backs. Only two studs included, but likely originally part of a larger set, as they have the Austro-Hungarian mark for 'large' silver items weighing 10g or more.
