Description
Offered for sale is an extremely attractive brass and tole empire style bouillotte two armed table lamp. The Bouillotte lamp is characterised by one or several candlesticks and became popular as it was used while playing the 18th century French gambling card game, Bouillotte, a popular game in the 19th century that influenced modern day Poker.
Believed to be made mid 20th century by the Chapman Manufacturing Company.
