Established in 2010, we are dealers in good quality antique furniture, silver, metalware, fine porcelain, artwork and glassware ranging from the 18th century to the early 20th century. We have a particular interest in the Arts and Crafts movement, and much of our stock dates to this era. We’ve published several books on antiques, which are available via Amazon.
We have a large dealers unit at Carlton Fine Arts and Antiques Centre in Salts Mill, Saltaire, West Yorkshire, and we stand at fine arts and antiques fairs in Yorkshire and Lancashire.
We have for sale a very attractive pair of 1920s silver and green enamel Charles Horner of Halifax cufflinks.
These very attractive cufflinks are of a oval form, with each leaf of each cufflink leaf being 0.75 inches (2cm) long and 0.4 inches (1cm wide). Each leaf consists of a rope silver border around a machined chequered centre enameled with a transparent green enamel, the overall visual effect is very striking. All the cufflink leaves carry the entwined Charles Horner marks and the Sterling silver mark to the reverse. The entwined CH Charles Horner mark was introduced in 1915 and was used up until the early 1940s. These cufflinks most probably date to the 1920s.
The cufflinks are in an excellent condition other than the slight age related surface wear one would expect from a very well looked after 100 year old pair of cufflinks. The Cuff links are presented in a good quality presentation box.
