This pub measure is a great example of an early 19th century copper alcohol measure, stamped one Gill. It has a brass hanging ring and lead seal on the inside of the top. The measure is believed to be English and the excise stamp bears the initials HR. The measure is in good condition with a few minor marks and dints to be expected, given its age and use. Please see photographs. Diameter of base: approx. 10.5cms Diameter top rim: approx. 7cms
