Edwardian 1903 Sterling Silver Dutch Octagonal Loderein Scent Box Hallmarked London

Edward VII sterling silver vinaigrette style Dutch loderein scent box, with an octagonal form, and a hinged lid. It depicts a Greek mythical scene featuring Hermes to the lid, and a rural scene to the underside. Originally Dutch in origin, with the sword mark overstamped with the key mark to indicate export ware, and a makers mark H1, as yet unidentified. Also has English import hallmarks. Hallmarked in London, 1903, with the sponsors mark AL for Alfred Lewis. Also has the F mark for foreign.
