This is a good Mahogany Canteen, the contents are incomplete and it dates from around 1900, cutlery by Francis Newton
There are 2 drawers in the box
In the lid there are 2 Carving knives, in the box there are 12 Dinner Knives, 6 Dinner forks, 10 desert knives and a Carving Fork
The Top Drawer has 2 Knife Rests, a Carving Knife, 7 Tea Spoons, 6 Dinner Forks, 12 Desert Spoons, 2 Salt and one Mustard Spoon
The Second drawer, has a Soup Ladle, a Gravy Spoon, Sugar Tongs, 5 Soup Spoons, 2 Sauce Ladles, 4 Tea spoons and 2 Mustard Spoons
The canteen is in good condition with an unused brass plate on the top
To be clear there is quite a lot of the set missing and a few of the pieces in the box are not matching
The Canteen is 9”x 19” x 14”
