Description
Fine quality 19th Century French ebonised & amboyna serpentine Sewing Table with ormolu mounts & inlaid brass line & central cartouche to top. Top lifts up to reveal rosewood lined interior and removable tray. Original engraved gilt hinges, stay, lock and keeper. Blue velvet 'pin cushion' to underside of top. Drawer pulls open for access to interior when top is down. Small, separate undertier ebonised drawer. Finely shaped legs. Superb condition with no woodwork, veneer or ormolu losses.
