French 19th Century Ebonised & Boulle Religious Mantel Clock

An extremely good quality French Belle Epoque Louis XIV style ebonised religious mantel clock with boulle red coloured tortoise shell and engraved brass inlay to the case. The clock has boulle columns to the front corners finished with bronze gilt capitals, boulle domed shaped top with torch finials, pierced fretted panels and glass windows to the sides. The clock has brass dial with Roman numerals on velvet background with females playing the trumpet. The movement is a French eight day which strikes the hours and half hours on a gong. The back plate is stamped:- L.F The clock movement has been cleaned and serviced and comes with a 12 month guarantee.
