Gents 1970s Delvina Wrist Watch

The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the case is gold plated while the screw-on case back is stainless steel. There is a little rubbing to the plate on the back of the watch and some scratching to the actual case back, but overall the condition is good. The case back states that the watch is water resistant but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture. The lens is in good condition. The dial is signed with the name Delvina, a name registered by Delvina Sa / Andre Bangerter in 1954. The dial is in its original finish with original hands, seconds sweep and an early form of quickset date where the hands are repeatedly moved backwards and forwards between 12 midnight and 8.30pm until the desired date is reached.
